GFWC Pocono Mountain Women's Club, made the dinner for one of the meals for Family Promise. Family Promise is an organization that assists homeless families to find housing and jobs. As they go through this process they are housed at different sights. Meals are donated by groups near each sight. In this picture are Ginny Day, Andrea Hauck, Darlene Schultz and Phyllis Nutt. With Diane Lake, President, they delivered and served the meal made by many of our members.
General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) Pennsylvania’s Board of Directors met the night before the November Board meeting to have a “pajama party”. Nineteen pairs of pajamas were collected and donated to Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties. This was part of GFWC’s signature project Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention. Pictured left to right:
