Club Collect

The Collect used by women’s clubs was written in 1904 by a young woman named Mary Stewart. Mary belonged to the Fortnightly Club, the forerunner of the Business and Professional Women’s Club now in Longmont.  Mary was part of the rapidly growing women’s club movement, and she thought that her prayer might give club women a sense of unity.

The name badge, with our GFWC logo engraved on it, comes in brass finish. Your name, engraved as you specify, makes this the perfect item for club use. GFWC Clubwoman Magazine
GFWC Clubwoman Magazine is the premier publication of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). It serves as a valuable communications tool to inform and educate our Federation about community service opportunities, project ideas, and ways to enhance club operations. Published quarterly (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall), the magazine is a source for insightful and informative content that keeps members up to date about GFWC. Members can access previous issues via the GFWC Resource Library, through the GFWC Member Portal, select folder “C,” and open the “Clubwoman” folder.

ESO is a reading sorority for GFWC club women. Members can participate in ESO as part of a reading group or on their own. The program provides membership, awards and certificates, pins, reading lists, and a framework in which to pursue continued self-improvement through reading. Many clubs combine club programming with ESO related activities, such as reading awareness and book promotion.

Recognition Pins

GFWC Gold and Jubilee Pins are available to honor clubwomen who have brought GFWC’s mission of volunteer service to their communities for 50 (Gold) or 75 (Jubilee) years. These pins are available free of charge. Club presidents can order the pin directly from GFWC Headquarters by completing the Gold Pin order form.

GFWC 25-Year Silver Pins, along with our 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40-year Member Pins, are part of our member loyalty recognition program, which honors our members who have served as community volunteers for five years and beyond. Order these pins directly from the GFWC Marketplace.
